On Womenโs Day, I attended the Digital Tholizhi Success Meet and Beta Launch, a significant step toward empowering women entrepreneurs , a pivotal event fostering a stronger local ecosystem and marketplace. The session began with Gayathri C, Project Lead at StartupTN, sharing insights into StartupTNโs achievements and initiatives in empowering startups across Tamil Nadu. Karthikeyan Arumugham (MD, Digiit Business Services) shared thought-provoking insights, structuring his talk around: โ Where he started โ What is happening around us โ How to use digital effectively One of the key discussions was the shift in business models: Blinkit vs Adyar Ananda Bhavan - India A Case of Asset-Light vs Asset-Heavy Models โธ Blinkit (asset-light): Digital-first, scalable, and built on agility. โธ A2B (asset-heavy): Physical infrastructure, high capital investment, and slower scalability. In todayโs world, launching a digital-first business is far easier than building a traditional one. Open Network For Digital Commerce (ONDC) is further revolutionizing this shift by democratizing e-commerce, making digital assets more valuable than ever. The event also explored: โฒ Worldโs top economies & Bharath 2.0 โฒ The Ripple & Domino Effects in business evolution โฒ How digital capital & assets impact valuations With the beta launch of Cartso & TovLife, itโs inspiring to see new digital brands emerging. Thanks to StartupTN & DIGIIT Business Services for an insightful session! #DigitalCommerce #WomenEntrepreneurs #ONDC #StartupTN #Digiit #BusinessModels #EconomicGrowth

With just drag and drop, you can build applications: โ๏ธ From scratch โ๏ธ Using templates โ๏ธ With AI-powered assistance (Zia) The practical demo made one thing clear: Low-code is not just about speed; itโs about accessibility. Whether you're a developer looking to accelerate workflows or a business user aiming for digital transformation, platforms like Zoho Creator bridge the gap. We look forward to bringing more insightful sessions like this to our WordPress community. Keep supporting and stay involved! How do you see low-code shaping the future of development?

We walk its streets, mention it in conversationsโbut do we really know the story behind RS Puram? March 10 marks the birthday of Rathina sabapathi Muthaliyar, the visionary behind its name. On this occasion, we had the privilege of attending a book review session on "RS Puram Andrum Indrum" by CR Elangovan , reviewed by Dr. M. Thangapandy. The discussion traced RS Puramโs transformationโfrom its early days to the vibrant commercial and residential hub it is today. But beyond the roads and buildings, itโs the people and their stories that breathe life into a place. The session was wonderfully moderated by Rathnavel Ponnuswami, who guided the discussion with great insights. A well-spent evening rediscovering a locality we often pass by but rarely pause to appreciate.

At a recent session with ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ง, ๐-๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ & ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐๐ฌ, we broke down the strategies behind business successโwhether in e-commerce, real estate, or beyond. Here are the key takeaways: Winning in Any Business โ Find the Gap & Own It โ Study existing products, research market demand, and position yourself where opportunities exist. Their drawbacks are your openings. โ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ Works โ Break down successful models and refine them. โ No Labour-Intensive Work โ Build systems that scale, not just businesses. The Marketplace Rules โฏ Price it Right โ Your product price should be less than 20% of its perceived value. โฏSet Profit Margins โ No business should run below a 30% profit margin. โฏReturn Ratios Matter โ High return rates kill profits. Optimize wisely. โฏ The 80/20 Rule Applies โ 20% of products drive 80% of revenue. Identify the winners. โฏ Smaller Products, Higher Profits โ "Chinna kaal, bettha laabam" โ small products often mean bigger margins. The 3 Types of Businesses โRegular Business โ Standard trade โBrand Building โ Creating long-term value โMoney Making โ "Kallayum vikirathu, mannayum vikkirathu" โ profiting from every opportunity If you truly love your product, donโt expect Amazon to love it the same way. Marketplaces run on numbers, not emotions. 5 Years = A Business Lifetime 1๏ธโฃ Start 2๏ธโฃ Struggle 3๏ธโฃ Win Business success isnโt about luckโitโs about understanding probability, numbers, and execution. Find what works, refine it, and scale. A big thank you to Coimbatore Digital Business Club and Growth Partners for organizing this insightful session! Events like these bring together sharp minds and real strategies that work in the marketplace game. Whatโs your take on these strategies?

Yesterday, I attended the 76th edition of Geek Night Coimbatore at Thoughtworks, where Pari Rajarathinam, Senior Consultant Developer at Thoughtworks, shared insights on GraphQL for AIโa game changer for how we fetch and manage data. We live in a world overloaded with information, and traditional REST APIs sometimes feel like shopping at a wholesale storeโyou get more than you asked for, whether you need it or not. Thatโs where GraphQL changes the game. โ Ask for what you need, get exactly that. โ Fetch multiple resources in a single request. โ Aggregate data from different sources effortlessly. โ More efficient, more flexible, more scalable. Compared to REST, which works best for simple, cacheable requests with multiple endpoints, GraphQL organizes everything around types and fields, making data retrieval seamless and structured. This session gave me a rough but exciting insight into GraphQL, and now, Iโm eager to dive deeper! My next step? Building a project with my colleagues to put this knowledge into action. Have you worked with GraphQL before? Iโd love to hear your thoughts or tips! Drop them in the comments. ๐
