Playing such historical board games not only provides enjoyment but also stimulates existential feelings, allowing us to imagine the conditions in which these games were played centuries ago! In the field of foresight, games serve as valuable tools. They teach us how to navigate uncertainty, engage our agency, and consider the consequences of our actions. Well-designed games contribute to empathy, multidisciplinary thinking, and futures envisioning. They overlap with the skills used in foresight, making them exciting workshop tools. Moreover, commercial board games often activate cognitive abilities essential for futures thinking. These games promote positive thinking, hope, and a futurist mindset...
