If I could give my 20-year-old self one piece of advice, it would be this: 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥! That invisible scoreboard you're trying to climb? It doesn’t exist. And even if it did—it’s not worth it. If I had 10 minutes with the younger me (preferably over chai and way too many samosas), I’d say: You don’t need to impress anyone. You need to know yourself. When I started out, I thought leadership meant always looking sharp, always saying yes, always having the answers. Here’s what I learned the hard way (and wish I had known earlier): 1️⃣ You don’t need to have all the answers. Leadership isn’t about being the smartest in the room. It’s about asking better questions and empowering the right people. 2️⃣ Saying "No" is a power move. Early on, I said yes to every pitch, every “quick call,” every shiny opportunity. I looked busy—but I wasn’t building anything meaningful. 3️⃣ Mistakes won’t kill you. Ego might. Fail fast, learn faster. The real danger is pretending you’re too important to fail. 4️⃣ People follow trust, not titles. You can’t manage your way into leadership. You have to earn it—by listening, delivering, and staying human. 5️⃣ Play long-term games with long-term people. Chasing short-term wins will exhaust you. Build patiently. It’s slower, but it’s real. If I could go back, I’d tell myself this: Be kind. Be curious. Laugh more. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Leadership isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being real. Now your turn— What would you tell your 20-year-old self? #GROWiT #Selfhelp #Advice #thoughts

Most people obsess over their first product. We obsessed over our: First 10 hires! Why? Because in a startup - especially one in agriculture - it’s not the idea that scales.  It’s the people who believe in it when it’s still messy. When we started Growit India, there was no playbook. We were building protective farming solutions in a market that barely recognised the term. Everything had to be created from scratch— from products and supply chains to farmer trust. And right at the centre of it were 10 people. No big titles. No polished org charts. Just a lot of conviction and crazy willingness to figure things out. They ran field trials. They handled farmer calls and delivery hiccups. They solved problems we didn’t even know existed. Looking back, these are the traits that truly mattered: ✅ Versatility – From sales to support, everyone pitched in everywhere. ✅ Grit – Agriculture doesn’t come with convenience. Neither did we. ✅ Curiosity – Solutions came from asking questions, not having answers. ✅ Alignment – We didn’t just work. We believed. 5+ lakh farmers later, one thing is clear: Your first 10 hires won’t just reflect your culture. They’ll become it. So don’t rush those decisions. Find people who treat the mission like their own. That’s how great startups are built—from the inside out. What’s one trait you won’t compromise on when hiring your early team? #hiring #startups #agritech

Everyone’s chasing the next big impact investment.  But no one’s looking at the most obvious one! I am talking about: Agriculture. Before we started Growit India, agriculture wasn’t on our radar either. Like most people, we associated impact with sectors like renewable energy, education, or healthcare. But when my brother and I began growing our own food, everything changed. We saw the struggle up close. Farmers battling poor-quality inputs. Crops lost to erratic weather. A complete lack of support or infrastructure. It was heartbreaking - and eye-opening. That’s when we asked ourselves: Why isn't agriculture seen as the best social impact investment? ✅ It feeds billions – Every single meal begins with a farmer. ✅ It supports rural livelihoods – Nearly half of India’s workforce depends on it. ✅ It fights climate change – Through soil restoration, water conservation, and reduced emissions. And yet, it’s underfunded, undervalued, and often seen as “too traditional” to be innovative. Through Growit India, we’ve seen how the right interventions—like protective farming, better inputs, and agri-education—can change lives. Not just for farmers.  But for communities. For the planet. For future generations. Want to create a real impact? Start with the soil. It’s time we rethink where we place our bets. And who we build for. #agriculture #founder

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭. What if I tell you that scaling a business was like growing a farm? Everyone loves the idea of "hockey-stick growth," but have you ever tried to force a mango tree to bear fruit in a month? Doesn't work, right? Yet, in business, we often chase rapid expansion without strong roots. When we started Growit India, we didn’t want to just grow fast—we wanted to grow right. Protective farming was still a new concept in India, and instead of rushing into every market, we focused on sustainable growth that actually benefits farmers. Here’s what we’ve learned about why slow, steady, and sustainable beats fast and fragile: 1️⃣ Strong Roots = Stability Quick expansion can be tempting, but without a solid foundation, it’s like planting crops in weak soil.  We focused on understanding farmers' real needs before scaling. 2️⃣ Quality Over Quantity Expanding too quickly can dilute what makes you unique. We prioritized innovation—bringing the right products at the right time rather than flooding the market. 3️⃣ Trust Takes Time In agriculture, relationships matter. Farmers aren’t just customers; they’re partners. Growing trust with them meant being patient, listening, and delivering value. 4️⃣ Weathering the Storms Businesses, like farms, face unpredictable seasons. A strong, sustainable approach helps you survive market downturns, supply chain challenges, and shifting trends. Scaling isn't about how fast you go; it’s about how well you prepare for the long haul. So, next time you think about scaling a business, ask yourself—are you sprinting toward quick gains or planting seeds for a lasting impact? What’s your take on sustainable business growth? Let’s discuss! #GROWiT #Farming #Agriculture #Sustainibility
