So yesterday I closed my MacBook for the last time whilst working for ecce. It's been an incredible place to work for the last two and a half years. I've had the pleasure of working alongside some amazing people, some fantastic clients and working on some really big projects. The team has been nothing but incredible in that time, joining the company as a self taught programmer with no real world experience the senior guys took me under their wings and helped me develop my skillset. It wasn't an easy decision to make but I think an important one, I want to grow both as a person and as a developer and in order to do that I need to expose myself to working with different teams, tech, projects, languages, frameworks and general ways of working. I'm going to truly miss being a part of the team at ecce as I've enjoyed every minute. There's been plenty of BBQs, lots of chicken wings and so much laughter. I'm going to take time to enjoy Christmas and reset before getting my head back down in the New Year to work on myself by further developing my skills, finishing off some personal projects, getting fitness back into the routine, diving into some new languages and hopefully find a new role and start the next chapter of my journey. Time is moving fast, it feels like only yesterday I hung up my Postie bag for good and walked into the office in amazement, so I'm excited to see what the future holds. A massive thank you to all the team for being so awesome, I'm wishing you all the very best for the future and I hope you all have an amazing Christmas. ❤️🎄 A special mention and thanks to Brant McNaughton who gave a self taught developer a chance, oh and for cooking up some delicious wings! 🍗

F1 weekends are the best. Ive spent the weekend here indulging in all things F1 and decided to rebuild my F1 app too add some chat functionality using supabase real-time database. Actually really easy to setup and get going, I think supabase is ideal for small projects like this 🔥 #f1 #iosapp #developer #webdeveloper

So figured I’d through a quick post up 😅, I’m still very active with sharing all sorts over on instagram if you care enough to follow there (@developeradam) Been slowly building a workout app in my spare time using VueJS, capacitor and Supabase, been having some fun writing some capacitor plugins to get HealthKit data from iOS and today been toying with the storage functionality on supabase to upload a profile picture ✌🏼 Hope everyone is doing well 🔥 #developer # #building

It’s been a while since my last post so let’s have a little update! I am super busy at work but loving it and continuing to learn and grow daily. Still building out projects in my spare time (what spare time). Currently working on a new project using Vue 3 and the new goodies it has to offer, firebase and capacitor! Been super busy as of late and haven’t had much time to dive into some personal projects so making it a priority this weekend. Also now have another workspace and it’s weird how it helps injects some motivation being in a new space even if it is only feet away?! Always celebrate the small victories 🚀 Well this evening I put some work into getting a project deployed and hosted. The project isn’t finished but I have yet to deploy and host a Laravel app so I gave it a go this evening, frontend and backend all hosted with a MySQL database all talking to each other 🙏 Maybe I’ll finish the project now …. 😂 Have a good evening folks 🍻 #frontend #mysql #work #project #database #juniordev #developer
